Successful candidates will join our team of nearly 600 water professionals, working on high-profile projects involving water and wastewater infrastructure at various stages in the project lifecycle, within a multidisciplinary environment, delivering projects on time and within budget.
The Water Europe Technical Delivery Leadership requires a new Senior Associate Director for Electrical & Instrumentation, Control and Automation (E&ICA) Engineering.
E&ICA engineers provide technical design within our multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. The Lead E&ICA engineer collaborates closely with the Design Manager and Discipline Leads to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Our E&ICA engineers are located across offices and client sites.
We seek a passionate leader with a strategic mindset, capable of fostering knowledge sharing, challenging the status quo, and driving innovation to improve delivery standards. This role is integral to the Water Europe Technical Leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the E&ICA discipline, collaborating with senior discipline members and forming relationships across the Water & Environment business.
* Providing technical governance across projects with support from discipline Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
* Supporting project teams with technical challenges and opportunities.
* Assisting resource allocation for pursuits and projects.
* Attracting and retaining top talent by anticipating future technical needs.
* Developing staff through training and career opportunities, supporting professional registration with IET or other routes.
* Monitoring external technical developments, legislation, and regulations, and responding appropriately.
* Enhancing the development of the E&ICA hub within the Water Europe team via MS Teams, improving guidance and technical information accessibility.
