The Role:
Weâre looking for a handsâon Electronics Engineer who loves solving complex problems and bringing ambitious technology to life. Youâll be central to designing, prototyping, and optimising advanced electronics for cold atom and quantum systems.
This isnât a âfollow the manualâ job, youâll help shape your role, work across disciplines, and tackle real engineering challenges headâon. If you thrive in a startâup environment, adaptable, innovative, and ready to persevere, this role is for you.
What Youâll Do:
* Collaborate with scientists & engineers to define system requirements for quantum technologies.
* Design, develop & test lowânoise analog and digital circuits.
* Implement control and data acquisition systems for cuttingâedge experiments.
* Debug & optimise complex electronic hardware for reliable performance.
* Integrate and test nextâgeneration quantum devices.
* Continuously improve hardware & software solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
* BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (PhD or Systems Engineering background is a plus).
* 3+ yearsâ experience in electronics design and prototyping for high-performance systems.
* Strong skills in analog & digital circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.
* Experience with GHz RF circuits highly desirable.
* Background in cold atom, FPGA, or quantum technologies (atomic clocks, sensors, computing) is a big advantage.
* Proficiency with relevant programming languages & design tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
