Overview
Our clinicians are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. This role is based at Queensmead House School and is part of the most joined‑up model in SEND across all of our specialist schools and children’s homes.
Responsibilities
* Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
* Use clinical assessment and formulation to offer individualised interventions and engagement to young people.
* Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to educational and residential teams.
* Work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes to ensure therapeutic support permeates all aspects of education, care and support.
* Support and supervise teams to deliver evidence‑based practice and achieve the best outcomes for young people.
Qualifications
* Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
* Specialist in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
* Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
* Confident, engaging, effective leader and trainer.
* Highly organised and able to take initiative.
* Committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
* Experience in team supervision and long‑term sector work.
* Valid driver’s licence (travel required).
