We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Music Manager to oversee the operations of our music department. Duties
* Lead and manage the music department team, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance revenue and customer engagement.
* Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure that product displays are appealing and effectively promote our music selections.
* Maintain high standards of customer service by training staff in communication skills and phone etiquette.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is replenished in a timely manner while minimising waste.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Organise promotional events and activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
* Ensure compliance with administrative procedures, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
* Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Experience
* Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within the retail or music industry is essential.
* Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
* Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail in merchandising and inventory management.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, both verbally and in writing.
* Previous experience in sales management or related fields is advantageous, along with administrative experience that supports operational efficiency.
