Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to a range of abilities. You ll foster a love for mathematical thinking and help students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
Key Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that inspire and challenge students.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
* Encourage logical reasoning, problem-solving, and numerical fluency.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and resources.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and respect.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to student achievement.
* Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent educational role.
* Must have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel within the High Peak area.
