We are now recruiting for the position of Catering Assistant Retail at Queens Hospital Burton. We are seeking compassionate, caring, hardworking, and flexible team members dedicated to enhancing our patient experience.
All staff working for UHDB play a key role in the organization. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a positive attitude.
You will receive full training, including Level 2 food safety and allergen training, other mandatory training, and role-specific training.

The main duties of a Catering Assistant at Burton Hospital include working with Facilities & ward teams to carry out tasks related to food preparation and providing food and beverage services to patients, visitors, and staff.
* Deliver excellent customer care with helpfulness, awareness, and compassion towards patients, visitors, staff, and colleagues.
* Perform cleaning duties within the kitchen and other related areas according to departmental schedules, including cleaning equipment, work surfaces, crockery, and cutlery.
Applicants should ideally have a good understanding of Mathematics and English, and possess good communication skills. Catering experience and a Food Safety Certificate are desirable but not essential, as skills and technical training will be provided.
