This individual will need to have a deep understanding of scaffolding systems, as well as a proven track record in sales within a manufacturing or construction-related industry.Although this position is for a Sales Manager, there are no direct reportees. However, for the right candidate, excellent career progression opportunities will be available, including the potential to manage a small team in the near future.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Target Achievement :Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue within the scaffolding sector.Identify new market opportunities within SMEs and build a sales pipeline to expand the customer base.Establish and review weekly targets, collaborating with the Operations Director to achieve or surpass these goalsCustomer Relationship Management :Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clientsNegotiate contracts and agreementsHandle customer enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.Market Analysis and Reporting :Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management.Provide recommendations for product enhancements based on market feedback.Use of CRM system to track prospect customersRequirements:A minimum of 10 years' sales experience within the UK scaffolding industry, with a solid understanding of regional marketsA proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong background in B2B sales, including account management and client retentionIn-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, products, and market trendsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plansExperience working to and exceeding KPIs and performance targetsEffective leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to successSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independentlyExcellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approachProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong organisational and time management capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (desirable)Full UK driving licence, clean and validIf you have not heard from us within 48 hours, then please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.This role is being advertised by Kenect Professional, which is a trading name of Kenect Recruitment Ltd, who are acting as an Employment Agency regarding this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
