An opportunity has arisen in East Kilbride locality's Integrated Community Support Team (ICST) for a committed individual looking to progress to an Assistant Practitioner for Rehabilitation role.
You will have physiotherapy-based knowledge and skills, and experience of delivering/guiding prescribed exercise programmes. Alternatively, you may have relevant fitness and exercise experience, such as from the fitness industry, and an understanding/experience of person-centred goal setting.
In this role, you will have a supportive team with a robust 12 week induction plan, ongoing Health Care Support Worker group and one-to-one clinical supervision sessions.
You will assess and provide treatment to appropriate patients within their own homes in the community.
Work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings.
A full UK/EU/EEA driving license and access to a car is essential.
