Shift Lead – B&Q Elgin
Part Time – 25.5 hours over 4 shifts per week. Permanent Contract.
Shifts available Monday – Sunday, 6am – 10pm (Weekend availability required). £14.50 per hour + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday.
About the role
This is a keyholder position. You will oversee each shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. Your responsibilities include:
* Be the heartbeat of the store and ensure operations run smoothly.
* Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout the shift.
* Act as the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
* Ensure the store is safe at all times.
Required qualities
* Passionate about customers and doing the right thing for them.
* Have a global view and not be constrained to specific areas of the store.
* Safety conscious and attentive to compliance opportunities.
* Enjoy interacting with colleagues and working in a team.
* Bring energy to each day and motivate those around you.
* Confident to exercise autonomy and make customer decisions quickly.
