SportBU is looking for two reliable, customer‑focused Duty Supervisors to help run our busy university sports facilities. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you’ll oversee daily operations, support the Duty Manager, and make sure our facilities are safe, clean and ready for use. Key Responsibilities Oversee SportBU facilities on shift, ensuring safety, cleanliness and smooth operation. Support daily tasks, including reception and cleaning duties when required. Supervise and motivate part‑time sports assistants to deliver excellent customer service. Prepare and reinstate facilities and equipment for programmed activities. Monitor health & safety and handle emergencies according to BU guidelines. Complete regular building checks and report maintenance issues. Provide high‑quality customer service and resolve queries quickly. Deliver tours and promote SportBU gym memberships. Support marketing activity and explore new business opportunities. Maintain strong knowledge of the leisure management booking and POS systems. Assist with university events (e.g., Open Days, Freshers). Contribute to BU2035 aims by supporting student experience and operational efficiency. About You Confident, customer‑focused and proactive. Able to work independently and take responsibility for the facility during shifts. Strong communicator with a positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
