Job Overview
Work on an established and prestigious Transport for London account across London. The London Underground contract is a 24/7, 365‑day operation. As a Mobile Supervisor you will lead, motivate and develop the security team to deliver best‑in‑class service to the client and its occupiers. You will act as the primary point of contact for the LU Central Operations team, Mitie management and emergency services.
Main Duties
* Ensure compliance with policies, UK law, guidance bodies and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
* Complete all tasks and duties as defined within the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
* Comply with industry and statutory legislation.
* Follow instructions and procedures.
* Visit sites in accordance with regulations.
* Ensure site officers are trained, compliant and regularly test their knowledge.
* Conduct patrols as stipulated in the AI's.
* Complete site visits and support investigations, preparing detailed reports.
* Escalate incidents and issues where required.
* Conduct welfare, 121 & RTW meetings.
* Perform site compliance audits.
* Complete all required competency training and undertake additional training as directed by the Line Manager.
* Attend FORS training.
* Report any health & safety hazards or potential hazards.
* Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
* Keep schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Ensure check calls are conducted at allocated times as stipulated in the AI's.
* Call emergency services and Fleet Security Control Centre/LF or Communication Centre to report all incidents.
* Prepare accurate, detailed incident reports as soon as possible after any incident.
Required Qualifications
* Full driving licence with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
* 5 years’ experience within the security industry.
* SIA licence.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Good report‑writing skills.
* Ability to learn and implement various systems.
* Passability of Sentinel, IWA and PWT certifications.
* Maintain a friendly approach to staff while retaining a managerial outlook.
* Ability to pass an IOSH certification.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and pursue continuous professional development.
* Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

* SC Clearance desirable.

Mandatory Requirements (TfL)
* Pass a medical assessment.
* Pass a drug and alcohol test.
* Successfully obtain TfL Track Certification, including Sentinel WSI, DTA and IWA.
* After a 3‑month probationary period, pass the PWT course.
Working Hours & Compensation
This role involves 36 hours per week, covering days, nights and weekends, with an hourly rate of £18.37.
