We're hiring a skilled CNC Press Brake / Punch Machine Operative to join a reputable manufacturing team in Willand, Devon. About the Role: As a CNC Operative, you'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch machines, ensuring high-quality fabrication of metal components. You'll play a vital role in the production process, working with a close-knit team to meet targets and maintain safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines safely and efficiently. Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet specifications. Complete necessary production records and documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety protocols. Requirements: Previous experience operating CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines. Background in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Basic understanding of machine maintenance and fault-finding.
