Warehouse Operative – Chichester – Permanent
Pay: £14.17 per hour
Hours: 12‑hour shifts, rotating days and nights
Wild Recruitment are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our Client based in Chichester who are a leading manufacturer of prepared salads and “food-to-go” for supermarkets and retailers,
Key Responsibilities
1. Pick and pack orders using a handheld scanner
2. Safely lift, move and handle goods throughout the shift
3. General warehouse duties including stock movement and loading
4. Using a pump truck
5. Operating a forklift (licence desirable; training provided after probation if needed)
6. Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while working on your feet all day
What We’re Looking For
7. Experience working in a warehouse environment
8. The ability to safely lift and move goods — this is a physical role
9. Confidence using a pump truck
10. A forklift licence is desirable (training provided post‑probation if not already qualified)
11. You must be 18 or over for insurance purposes
12. Comfortable working in a cold environment
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a 2‑week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Shift Times: 07:00 – 19:00
Two weeks on days followed by two weeks on nights.
