Overview
At Evolve Psychology Services, we empower clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care to children, young people, and families. The role is within the Norwich Team and is a hybrid position with part-time or full-time options and a minimum of three days per week. As a Clinical Psychologist, you contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments to support timely and accurate diagnoses and improved outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
* Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
* Collaborate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians where needed.
* Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
* Produce accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with the help of AI-assisted tools.
* Work to meet service KPIs and participate in supervision where applicable.
* Contribute to service development projects and consult to colleagues in areas of expertise.
* Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments as needed (hybrid role).

Qualifications And Experience
* Must hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (e.g., Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologist).
* Minimum of 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
* Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
* In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
* Trained and experienced in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.
* Effective time management and caseload organisation; ability to meet clinical deadlines.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
* Highly developed written language skills for high-quality clinical reports.
* Excellent communication with children, young people, and families, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions.
