SEND Teacher

We are seeking dedicated SEND Teachers who are looking for opportunities from the new academic year in Maidstone.
We are looking for people who have experience with the following:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for SEND students.
* Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives specific for students with autism and other special educational needs.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
* Observe and evaluate student performance and development.
* Provide appropriate feedback on work.
* Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
* Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
* Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and school policies.
* Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
* Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
* Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with autism.
* Strong knowledge of the primary and secondary education system.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages student learning and social interaction.
* Patience, resilience, and dedication to education and student development.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and student needs.
