Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated graduates to take on full-time Teaching Assistant roles in mainstream and specialist schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Starting in September 2025, these positions offer the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
The Role:
* Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
* Assisting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and SEMH
* Collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
* Creating an inclusive, positive and safe classroom environment
* Contributing to the overall progress and well-being of pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
* A recent graduate (any discipline considered) with a genuine passion for education
* Strong interest in working with children who have additional needs or require academic intervention
* Empathetic, patient, and resilient with a proactive approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in schools, youth work or care settings is advantageous but not essential
