Full Time Specialist Hub Provision Teacher

Laithes Primary is a primary school with 334 children on roll starting school in FS1. The school has a 12 place Specialist Hub provision working with children who have complex communication and interaction needs. The school is part of Every Child Matters Academy Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the other ECM provisions. The school is outward facing and works in a range of partnerships providing development opportunities for the school and its staff. At its last inspection in March 2022 the school was judged as good with outstanding EYFS provision.
The successful candidate will work primarily within the specialists Hub. The teacher will be working with children with ASD and experience in other communication and interaction needs would be essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative teacher who:
* Can demonstrate strong practice and a passion for working with children
* Has very good communication skills.
* Has a good understanding of the way children with additional needs develop and learn
* Will be a team player and be able to demonstrate strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills as well as having a creative vision to ensure inspiring and motivating lessons are developed
* Can adapt lessons rapidly to meet the needs of the children they are working with
* Is committed to nurturing the development of our children, by having an excellent rapport with children, parents and carers
* Has a commitment to inclusive education and a genuine desire to work co-operatively with parents, key school staff and other professionals
* Is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all children develop a greater sense of themselves and independence
* Is committed to improving their practice through CPD and working alongside others
