Main duties of the job
You will work as an autonomous practitioner alongside senior dietitians who can provide support and supervision and act as a source of specialist knowledge. The team has a mixed clinical caseload of adults including undernutrition, diabetes, and gastrointestinal conditions. We work closely with Dietetic Assistants/Dietetic Associate Practitioners and multi‑disciplinary teams, and are well supported by our administrative team to aid efficiency.
We work in a hybrid model of remote working (telephone/video), from home or office as well as face‑to‑face contact such as patient homes, care homes, and health centres for clinics or groups. The Trust has excellent IT facilities to ensure fast reliable access to SystmOne and LeedsCare Record for patient records off site and at home.
Community Dietitian is a varied post: requires a car driver or car owner. Rewarding environment with continuous evaluation of practice, e.g., outcome measures.
