Job Role: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Therapeutic Key Worker to join our team, working a variety of shifts of 2-days-on-4-days-off, including sleeps and weekends and having on-call responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in supporting young people emotionally and practically, both during the day and overnight and helping lead the team. This includes creating a stable environment, managing any issues that arise, and providing therapeutic support to ensure the well-being of the young people in our care.
Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional and practical support to young people during daytime and sleep-in shifts on a 2-day-on-4-day-off rolling 6 day rota
* Assist young people in managing emotional, behavioural, and daily challenges.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents throughout your shifts.
* Complete daily reports, safeguarding documentation, and incident reports as needed.
* Weekly Health & Safety Checks
* Helping develop and review support plans
* Support young people in developing independent living skills, including managing routines.
* Collaborate with the wider team to deliver personalised care and maintain high standards.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model.
* Being a role model for working in line with our trauma informed model, upholding high standards and positive attitude, and nurturing, tailored approach
* Being a part of the On-Call rota and covering sickness
* Helping train new team members
