We are pleased to be working with an excellent business based in Wakefield who are looking for a management accountant to join them on full time permanent basis. This is an excellent role that comes with progression for someone who is ambitious and looking to climb the ladder within finance. This is a hands-on role, where you will all work together within the office and your duties will not be limited to management accounts, as a small team you will be required to support the ledger clerks and office staff.
Duties will include:
* Preparation and production of monthly management accounts for 2 companies within the group
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Accruals, prepayments, and journals
* Fixed assets
* Budgets and forecasting
* Review costings and margins
* Support the ledger clerks and accounts assistants with general accounts
* Support the office staff where needed
* Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills:
* Part ACCA/CIMA qualified or FULLY qualified is essential for this role
* Strong IT skills including Pivot tables/V-Look-ups
* Assisted with software implementation would be an advantage
