An exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in a home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. Working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
Key Duties
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contribute to care planning and support workers coaching
* Promote the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Update and write care plans and resident documentation
* Make realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Administer medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Proven experience of working in a care setting
* A good team player
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* A genuine desire to care for others
