Workshop Controller required, in Mansfield
1. Basic Salary: £35,000
2. OTE: Up to £45,000
3. Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
4. Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 – 13:00
5. No Sundays or Bank Holidays
We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run Autocentre in Nottingham for a Workshop Controller / Branch Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with Automotive Workshop experience who’s ready to lead a team, manage daily operations, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Controller:
17. Manage daily Workshop operations and Technician workloads
18. Maintain high standards of customer service and job quality
19. Order and manage parts efficiently
20. Handle customer queries and authorise repair work
21. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
22. Support recruitment, training, and team development
23. Stay current with industry updates and internal policies
Requirements for this Workshop Controller role:
24. Previous experience in an Automotive Workshop, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role
25. Excellent organisational and communication skills
26. Strong customer service mindset
27. Comfortable managing both technical and administrative tasks
28. Knowledge of Workshop Health and Safety standards
29. UK work authorisation
