As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our operations, making a direct impact on our production process and supply chain success. What You’ll Be Doing: Goods Receiving & Inspection: You’ll be the first line of defence in receiving and inspecting incoming goods. Ensuring accuracy and quality is key to keeping our operations running smoothly! Stock Management: From raw materials to packaging, you’ll help organize and store products using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring stock is rotated efficiently and tracked in real-time to minimize waste. ️ Order Fulfilment: Get ready to be on the move! You’ll pick and prepare raw materials and packaging, ensuring they’re ready for production and safely loaded onto vehicles. Equipment Operation: Use your skills to operate forklifts and pallet trucks to keep everything moving in the warehouse. Regular equipment checks will ensure that everything runs safely and efficiently. Health & Safety Compliance: Safety is our top priority! You’ll follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring that the warehouse remains a safe and clean working environment for you and your teammates. Collaboration & Communication: You’ll work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and communicate effectively with your colleagues to keep things moving smoothly. Quality Control: Handling products with care is essential. You’ll make sure that everything meets our high-quality standards and that we minimize product damage. 5S & Continuous Improvement: We take pride in our workplace organization. You'll actively participate in 5S activities to keep our warehouse running efficiently and safely. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus, but we’re also happy to train the right candidate! Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or a willingness to learn is essential. Attention to Detail: You’re someone who notices the little things, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and stock management. Manual Handling: You’re able to tackle the demands of lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods. Manual handling tasks will be a part of the role. ️ Team Player: You work well with others and know that great things happen when everyone pulls together. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with the team and ensuring smooth operations. Shift Flexibility: This role requires working on a rotating 3-shift system, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
