The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in East Midlands. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist who can support and enhance the laboratory’s Microbiology service.
Position Details:
* Role: Biomedical Scientist
* Band: 6
* Location: East Midlands
* Hours: 37.5 per week
* Duration: Ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you will:
* Read cultures and identify significant pathogens
* Perform susceptibility testing
* Support senior biomedical scientists in service delivery
* Provide guidance to junior staff

Essential Requirements:
* HCPC registration

* NHS laboratory experience at Band 6 level
