Role location and schedule
Apple Tree House is a residential, Ofsted Registered >Good’ children’s service situated on the outskirts of Weymouth, Dorset. Here we support 4 children aged 8 to 18. The role requires working 9pm-9am, three nights per week.

What you’ll be doing
* Support with daily tasks to increase the children’s confidence and everyday skills
* Help the children have fun and engage in learning
* Cook, clean and support with everyday tasks, depending on the child’s ability
* Engage in outings and activities near the seaside and local amenities, supporting the children’s interests
Who you are
* Enthusiastic, compassionate and enjoy working with children
* Motivated, flexible and have a ‘can do’ attitude
* Previous experience in a social care setting with children is preferred but not essential
* A great sense of humour, understanding, and patience as described by the young people
