Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. We are currently seeking a Pool Worker to play a vital role in our Complex Needs Service in Lewisham.
Your Role: What Will You Be Doing?
As part of the Lewisham Mental Health Service, you will provide supported accommodation for single adults with complex mental health needs at various stages of recovery. Our service is a key component of the London Borough of Lewisham's Mental Health Supported Housing Pathway, dedicated to promoting recovery and independence.
Your primary focus will be to enhance engagement with mental health treatment, collaborating effectively with key agencies like SLaM to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our service users. Our service includes:
* 2 x 24-hour accommodations in Lewisham
* Tredown Road: Capacity for 8 service users
* Coulgate Street: Capacity for 7 service users
Currently, both sites are male-only, but we are open to changing this based on need.
What Do You Need to Bring?
We’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate the core skills required for this role and align with our values and mission. We also value lived experience in the areas we support, so feel free to share this in your application.
Key Qualifications:
* Experience as a Support Worker, particularly with individuals facing mental health challenges in a community setting.
