Salary: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bierton is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience in education, especially if you're considering a future career in teaching, SEND, or educational psychology.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support individual pupils or small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. The role may include working with children with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored support to meet their academic and emotional needs.
* Support pupils in class, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Assist the class teacher in delivering planned lessons and activities
* Adapt learning materials to suit the needs of individual pupils
* Encourage pupil participation, independence, and confidence
* Monitor and record progress, feeding back to the teacher and SENCo
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual who is keen to support children in a meaningful way.
Essential:
* Experience working with children (in a school, childcare, or similar setting)
* A patient, caring, and flexible approach
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and wellbeing
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Desirable:
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
* A warm, inclusive, and community-focused environment
* Supportive staff and leadership team
