The Role: Hampshire Equipment Services delivers, services, maintains, and installs equipment and minor adaptations for Hampshire residents. Equipment and minor adaptations aid daily living to help people remain independent, support end of life care, prevent hospital admissions, and enable rapid hospital discharge allowing people to be cared for and supported at home with their family. A jointly funded service with the NHS, Hampshire Equipment Services cover the whole of Hampshire except for Southampton and Portsmouth City’s. The service supports upwards of 250,000 equipment deliveries and minor adaptations, providing LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) inspections, servicing, maintenance, and recycling. The service is currently undergoing a significant transformation and is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Service Manager to join our team to lead the service through a complex and challenging health and care system ensuring its fitness for the future.
