Our client in is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Services – Occupational Therapy & Specialist Assessment Team at Vale of Glamorgan. You'll play a key role in assessing adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities, delivering person‑centred recommendations that support independence and safety. What will your responsibilities be?
What will your responsibilities be?
* Complete holistic OT assessments for adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and learning disabilities
* Work within the Specialist Assessment Team based at Canolfan Ty Jenner
* Recommend equipment, adaptations and intervention plans to promote safe, independent living
* Support multidisciplinary working with social workers, therapy staff and wider partners
* Maintain high‑quality documentation, risk assessments and clinical reasoning
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
* HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist
* Experience working in adult social care or a similar community‑based OT setting
* Strong assessment skills and confident clinical decision‑making
* Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
* Clear communication skills and a commitment to person‑centred, strengths‑based practice
