Main Responsibilities
As a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber, your role will include:
* Providing opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
* Delivering a range of clinical interventions, including basic wound care, ECGs, venous blood sampling, Fibroscans, Hepatitis B vaccinations, IM Thiamine and Depot Buprenorphine injections, COPD, and Blood Borne Virus screening.
* Collaborating with external agencies to ensure individuals receive timely and appropriate support.
* Creating a collaborative approach that strengthens connections between Turning Point and outside professionals.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacy Prescriber who:
* Is an excellent communicator with the ability to develop safe and responsive prescribing plans tailored to individual needs.
* Has a genuine interest in helping people and possesses a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience.
* Holds a valid driving license and has access to a car for travel across various clinics in Leicestershire and Rutland.
