Purpose
As a Contract Supervisor at Smart Managed Solutions, you will operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner. Manage reactive works process to ensure requests are responded to and closed out in accordance with agreed procedures. Develop management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Working Pattern
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Upload all quotes to the web quote system for client approval and ensure reactive tasks are closed within the set SLA period.
2. Attend daily morning meetings with the team. Complete and submit weekly staff & subcontractor rotas to the client on time.
3. Ensure good engineering practices are followed at all times.
4. Compile and present a monthly report for managers and the client.
5. Carry out routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant according to site schedules and asset lists.
6. Complete reactive tasks throughout the building and proactively identify areas for improvement.
7. Maintain suitable spares inventory to carry out maintenance and reactive works, providing parts inventory and estimated timescales for remedial actions.
8. Keep computer-based maintenance systems (e.g., eLogbook, Concept, Smart Hub) up to date, ensuring PPM and reactive tickets are accurately closed out.
9. Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
10. Develop good working relationships with all Smart staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
11. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring all engineers wear uniforms and PPE.
12. Ensure plant rooms under Smart's responsibility are always locked and kept clean and tidy.
