Operations Manager - Inverness (Hybrid Working Available)
FPS is partnering with a leading company in the UK water industry to recruit an Operations Manager based in Inverness. Reporting directly to the Head of Construction, this role encompasses the efficient delivery of a project portfolio across North Region sites.
Key Points:
Responsible for managing Project Managers within the Scottish Water SR15 and SR21 Frameworks
Oversee projects ranging from £2.5M to £20+M across North and East Scotland
Senior management role with accountability from pre-construction to handover
Lead and develop a team of direct reports
Responsibilities:
Leadership and management of the Operations Department Team
Contribution to Operational strategies
Efficient, safe, and economic project operations
Accurate reporting of project progress and costs
Resource planning for proposed and live projects
Recruitment and development of necessary resources
Compliance with H&S, Quality assurance, and management procedures

Candidate Requirements:
Proven track record in delivering Construction/Water projects
Extensive construction knowledge and water industry expertise
Leadership experience in achieving delivery objectives
Ability to manage conflict and external contacts
Track record of achieving high customer satisfaction results
Minimum HND in engineering/project management or equivalent
