NQ Criminal Solicitor – Leeds A highly regarded regional law firm based in the heart of Leeds is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Senior Paralegal to join its Personal Injury and Inquests team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to develop expertise in a unique and growing area of law: criminal defence work with a focus on Dangerous Dogs Act cases. Key Responsibilities Assist with and manage a specialist caseload of Dangerous Dogs Act matters, including prohibited breeds and out-of-control dog cases Support representation of clients at police stations, the Magistrates' Court and Crown Court Provide high-quality, client-focused legal support and advice Draft legal documents, statements and correspondence Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant criminal law and procedures Work closely with experienced Solicitors while developing your own case management skills About You Newly Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or an experienced Senior Paralegal with strong exposure to criminal law Previous experience assisting with criminal matters or court preparation Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Excellent communication and client care skills Strong IT literacy and attention to detail An interest in developing expertise in Dangerous Dogs Act cases (experience in this area is advantageous but not essential) What's on Offer?
