Our client, a respected law firm specialising in Court of Protection work, is looking to hire a Senior Court of Protection Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to take on a senior role, managing complex cases and supporting solicitors with high-profile matters.
2 DAYS A WEEK WORKING FROM HOME.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, including deputyship, welfare, and financial cases.
* Drafting applications, orders, reports, and correspondence for submission to the Court of Protection.
* Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive case summaries.
* Liaising with clients, family members, deputies, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
* Supporting and mentoring junior paralegals and other team members.
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Court of Protection law and practice.
* Strong knowledge of deputyship, mental capacity, and related financial matters.
* Excellent drafting, research, and case management skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and professionals alike.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Desirable:
* CILEx qualification or equivalent paralegal accreditation.
* Experience supervising junior staff.
