Our client is a premium drinks business with an enviable portfolio of award-winning spirits brands. To drive their consumer engagement further they require a Social Content Creator to drive brand presence and engagement across digital channels.
The successful candidate will work with the Marketing and Digital teams to create, manage and deliver a comprehensive promotional marketing and editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery targeting key consumer and trade occasions. Your focus will be on developing, editing and delivering best in class content to drive brand and business impact. In addition, you will own and develop the online consumer community.
Using tools such as Sprout Social, Capcut, and Canva you will work with marketing and design to activate brand campaigns across social media platforms, and track and analyse the performance of campaigns and their content, using analytics tools and present detailed monthly reports on key metrics, paid media advertising, insights, and recommendations to optimise future campaigns.
Skills and experience required:
* Proven experience (2-3 years) in Copywriting & social media management, preferably within the Whisky/Spirits beverages industry
* Relevant certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing are a plus, along with
* experience of editing and proofreading
* Strong creative thinking and ability to produce visually appealing and engaging content
* Working knowledge of SEO principles and how to apply them to social media content to
* increase visibility and engagement
* Deep understanding of various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), their algorithms, and best practices for content optimisation, along with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity, specifically when it comes to content creation and editing
* Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in social media analytics tools (Google Analytics,
* Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
* Degree educated or equivalent
