Job Title: Coordinator, Travel
Job Summary
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing travel arrangements for employees, clients, or executives. This includes handling transportation, accommodation, and itinerary planning efficiently and cost-effectively, liaising with travel agencies, suppliers, and vendors to secure the best deals, and maintaining high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Travel Management: Provide end-to-end travel solutions, including bookings for flights, hotels, and transportation, tailored to needs and guidelines.
2. Multitasking: Manage multiple requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality service.
3. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements, payments, and itineraries.
4. Travel Preparation: Provide travelers with detailed itineraries, maps, and guides.
5. Issue Resolution: Address travel-related issues promptly.
6. Cost Management: Research and negotiate travel options to meet budget requirements.
7. Reservation & Payment: Handle reservations, payments, and cancellations efficiently.
8. Travel Research: Compare options to identify the best deals.
9. Financial Monitoring: Reconcile expenditures and ensure accurate expense reporting.
10. Emergency Contact: Serve as primary contact during travel emergencies, including weekends on a rotating basis.
11. Customer Service: Provide high-quality support to travelers.
Qualifications & Skills

* Courteous interaction with staff, clients, and suppliers.
* Previous experience in fast-paced environments; travel booking or administrative experience is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
