Health & Safety Advisor Location: Surrey (near Chertsey / Longcross area) Employment Type: Part-Time, approx. 20 hours per week Sector: Construction / Site Operations An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy construction site team in Surrey. This role will suit a proactive professional who enjoys being hands-on and visible on site, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with UK regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments * Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety and CDM Regulations * Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks to operatives and subcontractors * Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports with corrective actions * Monitor PPE compliance and promote a positive safety culture on site * Maintain records for inspections, training, and incident reporting * Collaborate closely with the Site Manager, Supervisors, and external stakeholders to uphold standards Requirements: * NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification) – essential * Extensive experence as Health & Safety experience advisor within the construction industry * Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations and current safety legislation * Strong communication and influencing skills * Able to work independently while engaging effectively with site teams This is an ongoing part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) offering flexibility and the chance to play a key role in maintaining safety and compliance on a high-profile construction site.
