Alexander Daniels are proud to be recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of an environmentally conscious waste management businessin Wednesbury, on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager and working as part of a small and friendly team, the successful candidate will contribute and provide the necessary expertise to ensure the continued integrity, professionalism and effectiveness of a comprehensive finance function that meets Group and statutory requirements of control, reporting and business practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure departmental activities meet priorities, schedules, and procedures.
2. Provide business insights using KPIs, with relevant reporting and analysis.
3. Analyse profitability and efficiencies across business streams, managing cost allocations.
4. Create detailed business analysis, and proposed solutions.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements for business efficiency.
6. Support cost management efforts to remain within budget.
7. Assist the Financial Accountant with month-end tasks.
8. Report actuals, forecasts, and budgets to group systems.
9. Review management accounts with the Finance Manager.
10. Support in preparing forecasts and presentations.
11. Assist in audits and provide tax information.
