Responsibilities
* Teach plumbing across levels 1 to 3 and part-time courses, combining practical vocational skills with theoretical knowledge.
* Prepare students for the world of work and maintain detailed records of progress using college systems.
* Deliver Plumbing courses with industry-standard qualifications and collaborate with employers to develop student skills.
* Promote and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
* Work 37 hours per week, with potential evening work at the Barnfield Campus in Luton.
* Support and contribute to a dynamic team; participate in training and development to upskill.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Excellent practical vocational skills with the theoretical knowledge to teach across levels 1–3 and part-time courses.
* Industry experience as a Plumber or equivalent; passion for teaching and student potential.
* Teaching qualification desirable but not essential; training and opportunity to achieve qualification provided.
* Assessor and/or IQA qualifications advantageous.
* Ability to promote English and maths within teaching planning and delivery.
