Responsibilities
* Shift coordination – overseeing staffing levels and production of rotas.
* Participating in audits
* Management of junior members of staff
* Supporting multi-disciplinary teams, such as:
* Diabetic retinopathy screening
* AAA screening
* Ultrasounds and X-Rays
* Medication rounds and dispensing
* Emergency response situations
* Patient assessments
* Nurse-led clinics, such as:
* NHS Health Checks
* Immunisations and Vaccinations
* NHS Bowel Screening
* Phlebotomy clinics
* Wound and Tissue Viability assessments
* Assessing new patients who have just arrived at the establishment for the first time
* Complete clinical assessments
* Triaging the acutely unwell patients
