4 on 4 off working rotation.
The post holder will support and supervise a small group of workers within a defined geographical area on a day-to-day basis, assisting multi-disciplinary staff and Enablement Officers within the District Health and Social Care Integrated Team in delivering high-standard enablement support to individuals and their families/carers.
The focus will be on maximising independence and supporting individuals to remain in their own homes. The role includes undertaking simple reviews of enablement plans, and supporting enablement workers in adjusting and adapting plans where needs or problems have been identified, such as washing, dressing, or mobility.
The post-holder will support and enable individuals to achieve their goals through an enablement approach. They will work within the team under the direction of the enablement officer, managing a designated caseload independently. The role involves working unsupervised on delegated duties, with access to advice and support from the Enablement Officer and relevant team leads.
Requirements
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle are required.
* Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council is required within 6 months of starting the role.
