What skills and experience we're looking for The Directors of Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company, together with the Archdiocese of Birmingham, are looking to appoint an ambitious, experienced and suitably qualified practising Catholic leader to the exciting role of Vice Principal at Hagley Catholic High School. Hagley is a very successful, inclusive and oversubscribed secondary school, rated Good in its most recent Ofsted and Catholic School inspections and which was recently ranked in the top 10 comprehensive schools in the West Midlands in the Sunday Times. Further details about the school can be found on the school website on: www.hagleyrc.worcs.sch.uk The successful candidate will be expected to take the lead on Curriculum, Teaching, Achievement and Assessment, as well as Professional Learning and Development, ably supported by an Assistant Principal who will also work in this strand of whole school leadership. They must be able to teach and lead in a secondary setting, desirably with experience at Assistant Principal level or higher. This role includes a teaching commitment in line with the successful candidate’s subject specialism(s) in one or more of Key Stages 3, 4 or 5, in accordance with the needs of the school.
