Opportunity: Full Stack Software Developer
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join a leading software development firm with over 20 years of experience in designing advanced software solutions. This role is pivotal as the company transitions from a Windows application to a web-based, scalable ASP.NET Core MVC platform.
The company is based within the Oxford ring road, ideal for candidates living in Oxford or those commuting from East Oxfordshire areas such as Thame, Chinnor, Waltington, Kidlington, Bicester, and Stokenchurch.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
* Architecting, building, and maintaining robust full-stack web applications in ASP.NET Core 9+ MVC with Razor Pages.
* Utilizing Entity Framework Core and SQL Server (MS SQL) to design performant and scalable data models, including writing queries, stored procedures, and designing complex schemas.
* Modernizing legacy logic from VB6/VBA systems into reusable, testable, web-optimized components.
* Designing responsive and user-friendly UI layouts for multi-platform accessibility.
* Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to review ideas, suggest improvements, and make architectural decisions.
* Managing version control with Git/TFVC and maintaining a clean, testable, and maintainable codebase.
