Until the End of the Academic Year (with the potential to continue in September)
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a secondary school in Southport to recruit a Science Teacher to start after Easter. This is a full-time position continuing for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of extending into September for the right candidate.
The school is seeking a strong classroom practitioner to deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcome from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor and track student performance effectively
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
A specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Full-time role until the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
