Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working
Holiday– 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)
Bookkeeper Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in our Peterborough office for TC Bulley Davey.
You will be responsible for managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews.
Key Responsibilities
* Balancing accounts, reconciliations, reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
* Draft and submit CIS returns
* Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts and payments
* Preparing and filing VAT returns for clients
* Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks
* Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
About You
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
* Ideally AAT qualified but will consider qualified by experience
* Extensive working use of Xero software
* Ability to work both independently, direct liaison with clients, as well as part of a team in both a supporting and supervising capacity
* Positive team player with a “can do” attitude
* Accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Experience with Sage and Quickbooks would be advantageous
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
