Reception Class Teacher M2 – M4 (Temporary 1‑year fixed‑term contract)
Required for September 2026.
Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a temporary Reception Teacher to join our team from September 2026 teaching 2 days a week. St. Michael’s CE (VC) First School is a popular school on the outskirts of Stone.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high‑quality lessons for Reception class, supporting each child to reach their full potential.
* Work closely with the Early Years team and maintain excellent links with parents, supporting their participation in their child’s learning.
* Uphold the school’s Christian values and ethos within the classroom.
* Prepare appropriate PPA time and manage classroom resources.
Qualifications & Experience
* Excellent understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
* Experienced classroom practitioner with a commitment to high expectations for all children.
* Ability to work effectively and supportively as part of an Early Years team.
* Commitment to safeguarding, child protection and up to date DBS checks.
