A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced person to join our CAMHS Service as Team Administrator incorporating Receptionist duties to assist in the delivery of a wide range of services to the children and young people of South Derbyshire.
You will be based at Century House, 100 Nottingham Road, Long Eaton, NG10 2BZ
15 hours per week, 2 days 9:00 - 5:00 pm
Cover may be required in our other CAMHS Bases to cover sickness or annual leave:Century House, 100 Nottingham Road, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 2BZRivermead, Goods Road, Belper, Derbyshire DE56 1UURipley Resource Centre, 1st Floor, 17-23 Grosvenor Road, Ripley, Derbyshire DE5 3JE on Monday 9:00 - 17:00 hours.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, outgoing, reliable and flexible person to join our Team Administrators in CAMHS.
The Family Therapy administration role is central to the effective and efficient running of the team and ensures that the clinician's time can be predominantly spent in a patient-facing role. This creates opportunity to maximise the time clinicians can work therapeutically with young people and their families.
Excellent communication is required with families to ensure clinical appointments are attended to reduce DNA rates.
Applicants will need the confidence and experience to be able to deliver a high quality front of house reception/admin support service, includingthe greeting of clients to our premises, dealing with a wide range of telephone callers and working as part of a team delivering an excellentsupport service to our CAMHS clinical teams and their clients.
Experience of multi-tasking in a busy office environment is required.
We are looking for a team player with a pleasant, welcoming manner and the ability to prioritise conflicting workload demands.
You will have good communication and organisational skills, together with IT skills (Word and Outlook essential), to be able to work with thegeneral public both in person and on the telephone in a fast paced and ever changing environment.

Attainment/Qualifications
* RSA II in typewriting or Word Processing (or equivalent) or demonstrable skills
* Good standard of spelling and literacy (proof reading documents)
* English GCSE Grace C or Grade 5 equivalent (evidence required)
* CLAIT/IBT2 or ECDL qualification
Skills/ Knowledge / Experience
* Demonstrable administrative and secretarial experience in a busy office environment.
