The University of Suffolk Dental CIC represents a step-change in dental care in Suffolk and North-East Essex, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental therapy care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will need to support student placements and have the ability to work in an environment where students are present. Full-time and part-time positions available. Evenings and weekends also available. Key Responsibilities To provide a wide range of dental treatment, appropriate to a registered dental therapist and hygienist at the request of dentists Diagnose and manage oral health conditions effectively. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dental nurses and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Promote preventive care and oral health education within the community. Requirements GDC registration as a qualified Dental Therapist. Exemption training and direct access. Proven clinical experience in general dentistry. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centred care and community values. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
