HR Business Partner – Maternity Cover (12–14 Months) Base Salary: £70,000 Bonus Location: Mayfair, London (Office-based, 5 days/week) A mid-sized financial services organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their London team on a 12–14 month maternity cover contract. This role reports to the Head of People and is part of a small, collaborative HR team. You will support a client group of approximately 150 employees, many of whom operate in global roles. Stakeholders include both front-office professionals and senior leaders, as well as corporate functions. The business has well-established HR systems and processes but values a hands-on approach to people support. You’ll be expected to provide practical guidance, coaching, and delivery across a range of HR needs. Key Responsibilities: Generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle Recruitment coordination and support Benefits administration and renewals Occasional employee relations casework, as needed Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to HR initiatives About You: Previous experience in a financial services environment is essential Comfortable working in a regulated, professional setting Strong attention to detail and responsiveness to people matters Practical, delivery-focused approach with the ability to contribute ideas and improvements Working Environment: Office-based role in central Mayfair (5 days per week – non-negotiable) Supportive and collaborative team culture Flexibility and fairness in working patterns, within the office-based structure
