Risk Consultant Field Based (Northern Ireland) Competitive Salary Working with the Scotland and Northern Ireland Risk Management team you will be responsible for the delivery of technical advice, high quality reports and support across our UK Commercial and Property Investors accounts. A key objective being the delivery of a first-class risk management service which supports the Company's intention to be the leading insurer in its chosen market. Although the role is home based, you will be expected to travel when required to client meetings across Northern Ireland - The ability to be flexible on travel is a must. A Full valid UK Driver's License is also required due to the amount of travel - A company car will be provided. A bit about the job: Producing bespoke quality survey reports and risk improvements including preparation and delivery of presentations to senior client management Managing & co-ordinating risks, handling technical referrals from brokers, clients and colleagues along with Compliance with our governance framework Developing an external network of Broker relationships, as well as key internal partner relationships to ensure excellent customer-service is delivered Supporting initiatives for service and operational improvements by acting on effective feedback, sharing ideas and engaging our team to fully work through options Supporting ARMS team meetings, and conference calls for the UK Commercial Regional Business Skills and experience we're looking for: Relevant backgrounds / Qualifications: include insurance, consultancy, or health & safety, with a NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent); engineering backgrounds are not suitable. Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge of risk management and loss prevention for Property and Business Interruption risks; Liability knowledge essential. Health & Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards across multiple trades. Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to interpret underwriting information for proactive risk decisions; excellent influencing and negotiation skills. Organised: Demonstrable ability to work independently, managing your own diary and workload, including organising site visits, meetings and travel arrangements with clients and brokers.
